Dinner at the farm

The second in our series of Club D&D supper clubs in partnership with The Nudge, will be held on Thursday 11th August and is a bit special...

It's going to be held in the gorgeous, secret garden at Spitalfields City Farm, and will be centred around a three-course feast, cooked and presented by The Modern Pantry's Anna Hansen MBE and her Head Chef, Rob McLeary.

The evening will start with a Great Chase vodka and elderflower cocktail, served from the back of Chase Distillery's famous Jeep, before guests tuck into The Modern Pantry's homemade charcuterie and snacks, including chilli and oregano salami and red wine and rosemary bresaola, as well as cassava and fenugreek croquettes with quince alioli (pictured). The main event will be roast Lady Hamilton monkfish tail with steamed cheeks and whipped liver, alongside side dishes made using as much produce from the farm itself as possible, including The Modern Pantry Som Tam and ajowan and turmeric roasted potatoes, with the meal rounding off with pink peppercorn pavlova and seasonal fruit. That will all be washed down wih a 500ml carafe of crisp, chilled white wine, served from an eco-friendly keg system by D&D Wine and OW Loeb

Tickets are priced at just £40 per person for all that, plus a £5 donation to the FoodCycle charity, and are VERY limited. The event is exclusive to members of Club D&D and members of The Nudge. Just send an email to reserve your place!
