D&D London are taking part in My Hospitality World, a week long festival (13th - 17th August) aimed to increase awareness of the scale and the scope of the exciting hospitality industry. The public perception of this sector can often be a poor one associated with low skills, low pay and not having a clear career path. That's why we're supporting the cause to change the opinion of this and educate people on the benefits and opportunies of working in the fast paced modern industry.

Old Bengal Warehouse Safari
Date: Monday 13th August 2018, 10:00 – 11:00am
Take a tour of all four sites at Old Bengal Warehouse and get a glimpse of four very different restaurant concepts. Get exclusive access to behind the scenes (the kitchen) followed by a career conversation and Q&A with the General Manager, Sam Pollard, and his assistant, (graduate of the D&D Manager in Training Programme), Ben Osoff.
Aster Career Breakfast Roundtable
Date: Tuesday 14th August 2018, 9.00 – 10.30am
Andy Downton (Our Senior General Manager) and Kim Woodward will be hosting a breakfast of champions at Aster. It’s the perfect opportunity to speak to two successful brits about how they’ve developed their career in the hospitality industry whilst enjoying a delicious Nordic breakfast too!
Cantina Pasta Masterclass
Date: Wednesday 15th August 2018, 10:00 – 11:30am
Cantina’s Head Chef will share his passion for pasta by giving people a masterclass in how to make their own. After the session, guests will get the chance to sit down and try the pasta whilst grilling the chef on his career.
