Watch out Leeds, we're coming for ya! And by that, we mean we are super happy to announce that we are opening two fantastic new restaurants in Leeds’ Victoria Gate development this spring.
Restaurant: Issho
The first is Japanese-themed Issho (meaning 'together'), which will be led by Executive Chef, Ben Orpwood, who has previously headed up the kitchens at Zuma and Sexy Fish and has a flair for providing modern and authentically Japanese dishes. Issho will be made up of a bar, restaurant and terrace.
What to expect: Fresh, vibrant dishes with some sharing show-stoppers, definitely something a little different to the usual Leeds dining scene.
Restaurant: East 59th
Keeping it global, East 59th will form a Manhattan-style rooftop bar and grill, and is named for the street D&D London's own Guastavinos is located in New York. The US-inspired menu will be overseen by Crafthouse & Angelica's, Executive Head Chef, Lee Murdoch - so you know it's going to be good. With panoramic views of the city, the bar is set to be a social centre for Leeds nightlife.
What to expect: Glamourous cocktails, American-style cuisine and a vibrant rooftop setting.
