The Art Room

This winter season, we have teamed up with London Evening Standard as part of our Blank Canvas campaign, brightening up 2017 with a colourful celebration of all things art.

As well as hosting multiple masterclasses and art collaborations across D&D London restaurants, a crucial part of this campaign is to raise awareness of our chosen charity, The Art Room.

The Art Room is a charity aimed at 5-16 year olds who are experiencing emotional and behavioural difficulties, in the hope that art can be used as form of therapy. They currently have eight Art Rooms in the UK, including Oxfordshire, London and Edinburgh. Their results have proven that art therapy can increase a childs self-estee, self-confidence and even their independence.

This winter, instead of asking our customers for a monetary donation, we are asking D&D restaurant customers to donate us art supplies and materials. This could be from small things such as buttons or glitter, to books, furniture or frames. We have 5 locations where these supplies can be donated listed below, and the children's work will be showcased at Kensington Place throughout January.
