There are a few drinks that just scream Great British Christmas, and chief among them are sloe gin and anything mulled. So when we asked our pals at Sipsmith for simple Christmas cocktail recipe to impress your guests over the festive season, they well and truly outdid themselves with their Mulled Sloe Gin - possibly the ULTIMATE winter warmer... And the best bit? You can get it all prepped and ready to ladle out as soon as your guests arrive!
MULLED SLOE GIN
Glass: Mug, teacup or Irish coffee mug
Garnish: Cinnamon stick & orange slice
Ingredients
50ml Sipsmith Sloe Gin, per person
Cloudy apple juice
Assorted spices (Sipsmith like to use use cinnamon sticks, star anise, cloves and cardamon pods)
Vanilla pod (cut down the middle)
Method
Add your spices and vanilla to a large saucepan
Top with Cloudy apple juice
Simmer for between 5-10 minutes until almost boiling
Ladle into each cup/mug as guests arrive, adding sloe gin to each
Garnish and serve
