The winner takes it all

Recently D&D London restaurants have been getting a fair bit of attention, with a whole host of accolades coming their way.Orrery took home Tatler‘s Test of Time award, showing that quality never goes out of style, whilst German Gymnasium‘s status as one of the hottest spots in town was cemented as it hit the shortlist for the Best Buzz gong.

Sartoria – fresh from last year’s revamp – has also been named as one of the UK’s top 100 restaurants by Restaurant Magazine, so keep those fingers crossed for us at The National Restaurant Awards! The Savile Row Italian’s stellar sommelier Michael Simms also reached the finals for the Sommelier of the Year gong at the GQ Food & Drink Awards, for the second year running. Launceston Place's Head Sommelier Piotr Pietras came 10th in thw world and 2nd in the country at the legendary ASI Best Sommelier in the World competition, whilst Coq d'Argent's Olivier Marie came 3rd in the finals of Moet UK Sommelier of the Year 2016.

Angler at South Place Hotel was also named in Square Meal‘s list of London’s 100 hottest restaurants, and ex-Angler chef Tim Peirson, who currently heads up the kitchen at Kensington Place, recently reached the finals at The Roux Scholarship. Congratulations all!
