We’re turning Japanese

We can finally share some rather thrilling news with you... Royal Exchange is launching a Japanese pop-up restaurant, in association with ANA (All Nippon Airways), and we're so excited we're offering you the chance to win a trip for two to Tokyo!

It's all because Head Chef Piero Leone won ANA's Seven Samurai Chefs Challenge, which saw him join a handful of other chefs on a culinary tour of Japan , before putting his experience into action, creating his own twist on a classic donburi dish. Piero's was declared the best (obviously), which means his creation Donburi N7 will be served in Business Class aboard ANA flights!

It also means he's opening his own Japanese pop-up inside the Grade I-listed Royal Exchange in the heart of the City. The menu is available in the courtyard from 4pm Monday-Friday, and dishes include spicy crab salad with ponzu, sriracha, ginger and mango; seaweed tartare and smoked salmon nigari, with pickled gari, soya foam and black carasau; and a tuna tataki lollipop with sesame and ginger dressing. We've tasted them and can confirm they are DELICIOUS.

It's launching next Monday 25th July, and Friends and members of Club D&D have 48 hours of priority booking. It also means you've got the weekend to enter that incredible competition to win a trip for two to Tokyo, before anybody else!
